| Performance without control is useless. The Quietside ODW unit uses our revolutionary Exactemp control to keep the delivered water temperature within 2°F of the set point at all times. Three temperature sensors measure the water temperatures throughout the unit. The first measures the incoming water temperature. This information together with the actual flow rate of water through the unit is fed to the microprocessor, allowing the unit to calculate the performance required from the gas valve. The second temperature sensor monitors the water temperature leaving the S Line Heat Exchangers. This is always 10 to 20°F higher than the required set point, allowing the Bypass Temperature control valve to open and bleed just the right amount of the cold incoming water into the leaving water to blend it down to within 2°F of the temperature set point on the remote controller.The last temperature sensor measures the delivered water temperature just prior to the water leaving the unit. This ensures that the water temperature at the shower or faucet is an “Exactemp”. | |||
